Day 31 -- Yayyy!!!

So, I'm quite the SL go getter these past few days. I decided I wanted a second job. I decided I wanted it in the wedding industry. I am now a proud wedding planner for Ultimate Dreamz Weddings. Super excited about this step up. I'm excited to get planning my first wedding, I however have to discover my own team, including a DJ and a wedding photographer. I'm super excited though. This should be fun! I have a few other applications for jobs I'm interested in. And of course I'm sticking with b2p. Hoping to get moved up to conciearge. So I'm defintly giving that one my all. I'm also thinking of selling turtle eggs, and live turtles. Mhm, I've been searching around. But at the moment, I'm afraid that I won't break even on rent. Don't want to put more money into it then I'm getting out of it, ya know? Though I do enjoy seeing all these little turtles running around outside (and inside!) my home. They make me giggle. And seem to be happy with their environment. However, I think I may have lost one or two. I was rather shakey on my first number, and now they just all seem to be moving around so much. I didn't think they could escape my fence, boy was I wrong! I'm looking to dip my hands in all SL business has to offer me. I want to take building classes, more then just NCI ones. And I've found a reasonably priced modelling school. This will all be a good thing, I hope! Oh and on a side note, YAY for 1 month of blogging. I've really enjoyed it. Even on days where I just post a few words. Looking forward to completing my 365 days and so much more!

Day 30 -- Turtle Turtle!!!

So I spent a large majority of my day yesterday, searching the grid for breedable pets. And what I found was apparently ... their's a lot of them. And their everywhere!! I decided on turtles, for now. I want bunnies to, and maybe a piggie. But for now turtles will have to do. I started out with 2. Hatched those eggs, and stared in aww at my new little friends. Then tp'd away and proceeded to buy 6 more. Now I have 8. I probaly should've stuck with 2. These things cost money! And have an upkeep fee, you have to feed them. Or else they die!! I've also applied for another job on SL. One with a little more activeness. Though I absolutly LOVE my job at b2p, but it's rather slow at times. So I applied at perfect pairings. I hope I get the job. It seems that it would be a ton of fun, helping to coordinate and plan weddings. I've found a few other companies, I'm interested in applying for. Though ultimately I think my limit on SL jobs is, 2....possibly 3.

Day 29 -- Shopping Fanatic!!!

Ahh, I needed this shopping trip today. It was relaxing and calming. I didn't feel the need to hoard my L because of rent. Since I just paid that! I think I want a pet...like a rabbit or something. So, I'm looking into those. And that's an exploration on it's own. I just hope I don't kill it...

Day 28 -- Yardwork

Mhm. I'm spending the day, not exploring. But I really wanted to do some yardwork at my home. Well not just yardwork, but housework to. I have an entire 2nd story that's not even decorated. And a yard that's absolutly gorgeous but needs that extra something to really pop it off. Plus a deck, with just a hammock. And though I only have 200 prims, I'm fairly sure I can do something amazing with that. Let's hope. Cause I'm jumping into it all head first. Not to mention, I've got some boxing to do, and some opening and then reboxing to do. I figure if I spend at least 30 minutes of my SL day organizing inventory. Then *perhaps* it'll get sorted out in a month or 2. Mhm. It's my goal. As you can see from my photo, today's outfit is well...a work outfit. I was gonna change my hair up and pull it back. But I forgot so yea, instead it's my normal short hair. It's weird, I hate short hair in RL and my hair is always long. But in SL short hair is the shit. And this one is my favorite to wear!! Ahh...back to massive redecorating....I want a grotto. It's a goal. And an elephant....with an umbrella...

Day 27 -- Pray for Exploration

So, I actually did explore today. I started of searching for a castle, trying to find something of interesting to snap a few pictures with. I ended up finding a church. Very beautifully done, I couldn't resist changing my windlight, hopping down and snapping a picture. My hope and prayer is to find new places to explore. And to sort my inventory, without using my entire SL day doing so....amen.

Day 25 -- Errr....

RL trumps SL everytime. I had every intention of exploring. But yea....things just didn't quite work that way. So yea.

Day 24 -- No More Packing!

No more packing I swear. Tommorow I will explore. Honest to goodness, promise.

Day 23 -- $#@%$&%$#@ BOXES!!

Gahh. I'm still packing boxes!! I planned to do something interesting today. Something super awesome to make up for the lack of awesomeness I've been having elsewhere. But then, I look at my almost 40K inventory. And think of how much it grows on a daily basis. I don't want to risk loosing it all. Not in the slightest, so instead of playing around SL, I'm forcing myself to work on it instead. I've been using some tips and tricks. I've managed to get it down from over 40k to 38k. And if I pack everything up I'm sure I can get it even lower then that. It's just a matter of packing up and getting it there. Wish me luck, I'm diving into my inventory headfirst now....at the rate it's going...I should be done before I'm 60. I think I have a shopping addiction. But that's a whole different blog-post.

Day 22 -- Boxes and Boxes

So, today is another packing day. Trying to get rid of my massive inventory and narrow it down to something smaller. ;x That's the current plan...

Day 21 -- Rawr! Lazy!!!

Gah!!! I am feeling so lazy today. It's almost 4pm, and I'm logging into SL for the first time. I really don't know what I feel like doing. I'm not in the mood to explore, yet not in the mood to organize or decorate. I know I have to work tonight, and since last night was interupted due to a RL emergency. So yea, that's my plan. ;]

Day 20 -- Work, Work, Work

My rent is due in a day and I'm 110L short. Of course, I'll work today and that'll be taken care of. But wow, I slacked off a lot in SL this weekend. I didn't work at all. I was so involved im my RL, that I was barely on SL. But I'm noticing from my depleting bank account that I need to focus on work as much as play, and put in more then my required hours. There's lots of things in SL I'd like to purchase but I'm no where near being able to. I'm just trying not to loose my love cottage. So today's adventure is going to be working!!

Day 19 -- Packing

So, since my ever growing inventory is threatening explosion. I'm packing it in boxes. Per outfit...so it'll still be large, just not 40,000 items type large. I don't want to sign on SL one day just to find it all gone. :O

Day 18 -- Shopping!

I decided to spend the day doing taking some much needed TLC. That means, in my world, shopping for freebies!! Woo!! I've neglected my much loved shopping world lately for other things, like hunts, and furniture. But I truly love SL fashion. So I'm out and about picking up freebies from all over the grid. Then adding them to my ever growing -need to sort- folder. Gahh. If only there was a gadget to help with that! It'd be worth a million L or more! Hmm.

Day 17 -- Decisions

I spent most of my morning searching for the perfect place to take this picture. SL photography is something I've gotten into recently. Reading a few tutorials and things. Other then that I've been fairly lazy on SL. I mean I don't really do much but work atm. Ecspecially since weekends I'm always out running around. However, I have the perfect idea for where I want to go...I just have to find it ;D.

Day 16 -- Class!

Today I decided to attend an NCI class on graphic templates. Fashion design in SL really interests me, so I wanted to check it out. I've already attended quite a few NCI classes (as those seem to be the only ones I can find.) Here you see me in my UV map glory. ;] I've done classes on most newbie basics, as well as clothing, building, and scripting. And I save the class notes and supplies, so I can always go back later and re-read them. So, I'd better get back to paying attention. For anybody who doesn't know NCI offers TONS of classes on just about everything. And are very much worth checking out. ;]

Day 15 -- More of the Same

Currently working on some hunts. I enjoy doing them, so that's my current project...there are a ton going on at the moment. So I'm taking full advantage of all the goodies. ;] If you'd like to hunt with me send me a IM in world. I'm friendly no worries.

Day 14 -- Hunting

Instead of doing some kind've witty thing today. I decided to catch up on a few hunts I had said I wanted to do. Namely, the Forbidden Fruit hunt. It's an adult hunt, with lots of kinky stuff. The kinky things of SL make me giggle so I'm super-looking forward to getting all the goodies from this one. There's a few others going on that I'm wanting to do to. Today just seemed like a good hunt day.

Day 13 -- Day of the Dinosaur!!!

Aha, had a ton of fun in SL's dinosaur park. Sort've a recreation of the movie Jurassic Park. I'm excited to explore this magical land. And run with the dinosaurs...so I don't really want to do a long blogpost. ;x

Day 12 -- Transylvania

I decided to head out somewhere to explore something new. The land of vampires. The build is quite impressive. And more so then that there's an entire musuem of vampire stuff to read through and to stare at. An amazingly creative idea. I really enjoyed the photo op spots. And wish my RL wasn't clouding my mind as I walked through...it's a place I'll defintly have to stop back by.

Day 11 -- Shopaholic

So after a lot of shopping lately, I realized I have so much crap to open!! And then there's the organizing. I was doing so well with keeping it in line and organized. Then I threw myself way off. I'm really looking to get back into the swing of it. So instead of going out today, I'm staying in. In my pajama's and opening more boxes the my pixel eyes will ever want to see. Then I'll sort through as much as I can and leave actual other sorting for at work. That's the goal plan. Sound good? Now, if only I could get this whole shopaholic thing outta the way. I'd be doing great. I've noticed that now that I have moneys, it doesn't seem as precious as it once did. I want to save it though. I wan to get myself a really next bedroom set for my pretty house. Or something along those lines. So, I'm defintly going to do some research on other ways to earn income. Maybe open a reseller shop or something.

Day 10 -- Jungle Exploration

So after my first week of work, and then partying Saturday in RL. I decided Sunday I wanted to do something just for me. I headed off exploring in a rainforest type region. Very relaxing, ambient sounds going on. And lot's to see. These type builds are generally my favorite and I love taking in all the sights.

I loved wandering around finding random surprises. This particular rainforest had tribal 'camps' set up. Which was intersting trying to figure out how many they were and the differences between them. And of course, I'm a poseball tryer. If I see a poseball or a place to sit...I have to sit or else I feel like I've missed something. And lately, I've wanted to stop and take some pictures. I feel so much like a SL tourist. I find that, when I first secondlife I did a lot more exploring..and then slowly it turned into all shopping. I wanna go back to the exploring, the adventure. Next, I headed to costa rico. The whole sim(s) are huge. With so much to do, I don't know why I didn't think of this first! Perfect place for a day of relaxing, and exploring.

Day 9 -- Dancing

So, today I just don't feel like actually doing much today. So instead, I danced around my house looking like a nutcase. ;]

Day 8 -- Furniture Meditation

I've been busily buying up all the fancy things I can find to decorate my home with. It looks beautiful. Though I'm sure some things are missing. But I have all the time in the world to decorate. I'd like to explore furniture shops today. Cause there's all kinds of weird dodads and baubles floating around in them. Or maybe yardsales. Hmmm.

Day 7 -- Faerie Cottage

Today, I bought my SL home. Hopefully, my forever home. Or something close to it, because it is beautiful! I'm really busy working on it today. And of course I have to work to make more L, to buy awesome furniture. So, this post is going to be horriably short. I promise to get a full shot of the house and edit it in at sometime tonight. ;]]

Day 6 -- Another dollar, another day

I've been doing a lot of shopping on my off time from work. Though I try to spend the maximum 5 hours at work, so generally on SL, I'm at work. I took a picture of the first thing I purchased with my new found income. Beautiful, greenish yellow eyes! Now, I'm on the search for apartments. I love my little hotel room, but I want something bigger...so that's my current goal. After that who knows what I'll search for.

Day 5 -- Mall Shopping

So after my first night on the job, which was oddly not bad. I really enjoyed it. Not many people teleported in, so I didn't feel overwhelmed. And on the off time when there was no one I got some inventory sorting done. Perfect job, for an inventory perfectionist like myself. I was also talking to one of my co workers. Who is rather new in world. He does reselling on the side. I reallly want to look into this. But, I'm just not a job in head first sort've person. So today I'm off to explore a bunch of malls to see what's what and how it all works. I've got a bunch to do in RL today. And I think I am going to wait until tonight to head to work for my extra 3 hours. Last night I worked 4 hours and 16 minutes...with 4 of the those hours being straight through. And I kind've enjoyed it. Though, since about 5 people teleported in, I did get rather lonely. But I was earning moneys!! That's what counts.

Day 4 -- Job Interview!!

Today I have a job interview with B2P, for a greeter position. This makes me super happy for quite a few reasons, the most important being, if I get the job. I'll begin earning a SL income. And therefore I'll be capable of more shopping!! And of getting my own secondlife home. Which makes me the happiest. So, I went to my interview. And I got the job!! I'm super excited. Pay is 50L an hour. With a maximum of 5 hours a day. I'm scheduled for 2 hours a day, 4 days a week. And I can take my remaining 3 hours at anytime per day. And then take 5 hours on all other days. I'm really excited to get to work, and make some moneys!! I rented an apartment, not exactly my own house, but it'll do for now. I can unpack and organize my inventory, however I want. And rez furniture and things if I should choose. Really liking how SL is looking for me so far.

Day 3 -- Magical Wonders

Today is a hectic day in RL so I really felt like doing something relaxing in SL. Kind've to balance it out. I've always had a love of fairytale creatures and kingdoms. And that's exactly where I wanted to head...http://slurl.com/secondlife/Toshimora/141/169/84. Magic Animal Forest is the name of the sim. Let me tell you it's beautiful. The ambient background noise is enough to relax me..walking around I see a ton of animals, including bears, lions, and chipmunks! This is the sort've place that words can't describe. I think instead of trying to describe it, I'm just going to show pictures.

Day 2 -- I see Paris!!

So today I want to see what secondlife offers as far as a country I've always wanted to visit in real life. Well there are actually tons of countries I've always wanted to see. I love to travel, but I've never left the U.S...or even the east coast so I'm hoping that by using secondlife I'll be able to see some of those places. My first stop is to Paris. The city of love. As a hopeless romantic I've always wanted to see it. To experiance it. My first stop is http://slurl.com/secondlife/Paris%20Eiffel/44/104/22. Which immediatly has breathtaking scenery, beautiful snowy trees, benches to sit and converse. And of course the eiffel tower. Which you can parchute off of the very top. Their eiffel tower is composed of 3 floors. Floor one has some shopping, some beautiful dresses. I'm in love with the bridal shop. One of the shops even have a free pair of shoes!! Always loving freeness. The second floor has some beautiful scenic shots of Paris, as well as some information regarding Paris in the 1900. However, it is written in French, with no english translation available. And at last we have the third floor, where you grab a parachute and jump! Wooo! I'd never try something as crazy in RL, so I love doing things like this in my SL. Next I'm heading off to another paris sim, this one offering more shopping. Absolutly gonna go nuts and shop for awhile...then after this shopping expedition, I'm gonna head back to my sandbox for another round of inventory organizing. I gotta start my spring cleaning early or else my inventory might explode. Of course that's never a good thing. Hopefully, I'll get at least one category done today. I eventually want to do screenshots of the fully finished thing or maybe even a video sort've thing. Hmm...I'm rather proud of the organization my inventory has compared to others. ;D Well I'm off. Day 1 -- A Whole New World

First off, Happy New Year!! I'm hoping and having great expectations for this new year. I'm looking forward to discovering all the things the creative minds of SL can come up with. Tonight, I went to my very first live musical performance. Let me tell you it was amazing!! I watched Dexter Ihnen perform. I don't think I've sat and enjoyed myself for that long in a while. Afterwards, I went off on a shopping expedition. I had aquired a few giftcards for some amazing stores over the last few days, and I was itching to spend them up!! First stop was Silk & Satyr, who gave out a 600L giftcard to their subscribo members. I purchased 3 amazing silks, and a beautiful jewelry set. I'm excited to try them out! Next stop was Dangerous Cinsations, where I picked up 2 beautiful floral tattoos. One with a cherry blossom and a second with a lotus flower. Absolutly thrilled to get to try these out. My last gift card stop was the Lingerie Boutique and shopping area. I managed to pick up a 200L giftcard, from their treasure hunt. I felt kind've lucky, the area was lagged with so many searchers all I could do was cam around...yay for my lucky day!! I picked up a beautiful blue lingerie set and a pair of dark wash denim shorts. A girls got to be prepared for summer ya know. The amount of gifts that are flowing from the SL designers amazes me. They surely know how to make a girl feel loved. There's a few hunts beginning today that I'm rather excited to attempt...though I don't actually think I've ever fully made it through an entire hunt...but some of these may be a first for me. Food establishments on SL amaze me, I never realize how truly creative people could be. Today I've set out to visit a few of those places. I've been to a grocery store, which is actually set up as a grocery store. It amazed me to walk up and down the aisles and the set up, the amount of effort that had been put in was enormous. Next my exploring landed me at sweethearts cafe & bakery. It was still adorably decorated for christmas, with a few generous presents under the tree. Their selling baked goods, that are amazingly well put together. On my adventures through a few other bakerys I won a scripted sushi set, which I'll set away for that lovely day when I'll have saved up enough L for a place of my own. Which is my other current goal, to get an SL job. Only I find myself leaning far away from club jobs. Those are great if that's your thing. But unfortunatly, it's just not my thing. So at the end of my day, well sort've, the end of my SL day, my inventory count is at 36,265 items. And I'm off to settle into a sandbox and open boxes...then find a new inventory managment system. My current one just isn't working for me. I reserve the right to pop back in and update this post at anytime today...just in case something that amazing happens.
